Ethiopian Yirgacheffe Green Coffee Beans Grade 1 – Unroasted | Home Roasting | 12oz
Unroasted · Raw Green · 12 oz
Most people drink coffee someone else decided to roast. These beans let you decide everything. Grade 1 Yirgacheffe green beans, sourced directly from farmers in the Ethiopian highlands and shipped to you raw, exactly as they left the farm. You control the roast. You control the flavor. You control the freshness. No one else gets to make that call. Roast light and you unlock jasmine, lemon zest, and a floral brightness that is unlike anything in a bag off a shelf. Go medium and stone fruit and bergamot emerge. Push to dark and sweet berry meets chocolate in a way that rewards the patience. The same beans. Completely different cups. All of them yours. Green coffee stores for up to 18 months, so you can buy in quantity and roast small batches whenever you want peak freshness. Yirgacheffe at 1,900 to 2,400 metres produces beans with a complexity that home roasters spend years searching for. This is where they find it. Sourced without middlemen from the farms that grew them. Shipped from Detroit within 48 hours of your order. If you have never roasted your own coffee, Yirgacheffe is the origin that will make you never want to go back.

For $15.99 these are fantastic green beans. I roasted them medium and got a smooth complex cup. They could be slightly more consistent in size but overall a very solid batch. Will definitely reorder.
Ordered these skeptically. I usually buy from local importers but these exceeded my expectations. Very clean beans, minimal defects, and the cup quality after roasting was exceptional. Blueberry and lemon notes were prominent in my light roast. Already ordered a second bag.
I've been home roasting for 3 years and these green beans are some of the most consistent I've sourced. The density and moisture content are ideal, they roast evenly every time. First crack came right on schedule. Ended up with a gorgeous light roast with incredible floral notes.
