Ethiopian Guji Green Coffee Beans Grade 1 – Unroasted | Home Roasting | 12oz
Unroasted · Raw Green · 12 oz
Guji is Ethiopia's most exciting origin right now. These beans let you roast it yourself before anyone else gets to it. Grade 1 Guji green beans from the highlands of southern Ethiopia, sourced directly from the farms that grew them. Raw, unroasted, and ready for your roaster. No brokers, no blending, no lower-grade lots mixed in. Just one of the most complex and aromatic beans Ethiopia produces, shipped to you before any heat changes it. Roast light and Guji gives you blackberry, jasmine, and a brightness that is almost electric. Medium brings peach, stone fruit, and dark chocolate. Go dark and caramel and bold fruit take over. Every level is genuinely different. That is the nature of this origin, and why home roasters seek it out specifically. Green coffee stores for up to 18 months, so you can buy now and roast on your own schedule. Guji above 1,800 metres in Ethiopia's Oromia region produces beans with an aromatic complexity that rewards careful roasting. When you control the heat, you discover exactly what this origin is capable of. Sourced without middlemen from the farms that grew them. Shipped from Detroit within 48 hours of your order. Guji roasted by you, exactly the way you want it.
Roaster's Notes
"Guji greens are some of the most aromatic we carry. The fruit character is locked in — light roast unlocks blackberry and jasmine, dark brings caramel and bold fruit."
